1. Introduction
Welcome to Entri (“Entri”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), an online ticketing marketplace that enables event organisers (“Organisers”) to list, promote, and sell tickets to events and allows customers (“Users”, “you”) to browse and purchase such tickets through our website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
2. Nature of the Service
2.1 Entri operates solely as an intermediary marketplace connecting event organisers and ticket purchasers.
2.2 Entri:
- does not organise, host, or control events unless expressly stated;
- is not responsible for event quality, safety, legality, or execution;
- acts as an agent facilitating ticket transactions.
2.3 The contract for attendance at an event exists between:
- the User, and
- the Event Organiser.
3. Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if you:
- are at least 18 years old or have parental consent;
- possess legal capacity to enter binding agreements;
- provide accurate registration information.
Entri reserves the right to suspend accounts that provide false information.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Users may be required to create an account.
4.2 You agree to:
- maintain confidentiality of login credentials;
- accept responsibility for all activity under your account;
- notify Entri immediately of unauthorized access.
5. Ticket Purchases
5.1 All ticket sales are subject to availability.
5.2 A booking is confirmed only once:
- payment is successfully processed; and
- a confirmation ticket is issued.
5.3 Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5.4 Additional service or processing fees may apply.
6. Payment Processing
6.1 Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
6.2 Entri does not store full card details.
6.3 By purchasing, you authorize Entri and its payment processors to debit your selected payment method.
7. Event Changes and Cancellations
7.1 Event Organisers may modify:
- dates,
- venues,
- performers,
- schedules.
7.2 Entri is not liable for organiser decisions.
7.3 Users will be notified where reasonably possible.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- resell tickets unlawfully;
- use bots or automated purchasing tools;
- distribute fraudulent tickets;
- upload harmful or illegal content;
- interfere with platform operations.
Violation may result in account termination.
9. Intellectual Property
All Platform content including:
- logos,
- trademarks,
- software,
- text,
- design,
remains the property of Entri or its licensors.
No content may be reproduced without written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Entri shall not be liable for:
- event cancellations or poor event performance;
- personal injury at events;
- losses arising from organiser conduct;
- indirect or consequential damages.
Maximum liability shall not exceed the ticket purchase value.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Entri against claims arising from:
- misuse of the Platform;
- breach of these Terms;
- violation of applicable laws.
12. Suspension or Termination
Entri may suspend or terminate accounts without notice where:
- fraudulent activity is suspected;
- Terms are breached;
- legal compliance requires action.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Disputes shall be subject to South African courts.
14. Amendments
